Dr. Alex Y. Cheng
Dr. Alex Y. Cheng is a native of central Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with degree in Neuroscience and Psychology. He completed his medical training at Temple University in 2009. He then completed his otolaryngology/head and neck surgery training at the George Washington University in 2014. During his training, he learned advanced techniques in head and neck cancer management and gained extensive pediatric ENT experience at Children’s National Medical Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has been honored as one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Doctors from 2016-2020. He has been selected as a Washingtonian Top Doctor 2018 and 2019, and has also been selected as a Virginia Living Magazine Top Doctor 2020. He enjoys treating both kids and adults in the full range of ear, nose and throat disorders.
Dr. Cheng lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife Evelyn, who is a general dentist. He enjoys traveling, cooking with his wife, playing basketball, and cycling. He’s an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
