Dr. Ramin Ipakchi, M.D.
Dr. Ipakchi is a native of Baltimore and a University of Virginia alumnus where he was inducted to the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1999. He then completed his otolaryngology/head and neck surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2004. Together with Dr. Arabshahi, they started Potomac Ear, Nose and Throat, PLLC in 2004. He is a board certified physician by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is also board certified in Sleep Medicine. He has been awarded as one of America’s Top Physicians, Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Doctors from 2010-2020, and has also been selected as a Washingtonian Top Doctor 2016-2019. He has also received many Patient’s Choice Awards.
He enjoys treating both kids and adults in the full range of ear nose and throat disorders, including facial plastic surgery, sinusitis, hearing disorders, dizziness, thyroid problems, and pediatric disorders.
Dr. Ipakchi lives in Oakton, VA with his wife and their young daughter. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing guitar, and travelling.
